Common Questions

Is my data backed up automatically?

Lemna stores everything locally on your device. You can create a manual backup from Settings → Data & Backup → Create Backup and save it to iCloud Drive, Files, or anywhere you like.

Can I move my data to a new iPhone?

Yes. Create a backup on your old device, transfer it to your new device, and use Settings → Data & Backup → Restore Backup to bring everything across.

How do I add photos to an item?

Open any item and tap the attachment button. You can take a new photo, choose from your library, or attach a document as a receipt.

How does insurance coverage work?

Attach a policy to a location (like a homeowners policy to your house) and all items in that location are automatically marked as covered. You can also attach item-level policies for warranties, riders, and floaters.

How do I export a report for my agent?

Go to the Locations tab, tap the export icon in the top right, and choose your grouping — by policy, room, or category. The PDF is generated on-device and can be shared directly from the app.

Does Lemna require an internet connection?

No. Lemna works entirely offline. An internet connection is only used to fetch current exchange rates if you have items in multiple currencies.
