Lemna is built around a local-first philosophy. Your home inventory — items, photos, receipts, insurance policies — is stored entirely on your iPhone and never sent to any server.

Data Collection
Lemna does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All inventory records, item details, photos, receipts, policy documents, and preferences are saved locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Lemna does not include analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or any third-party data collection tools.
What Stays on Your Device
The following data is stored locally and never leaves your device:
- Item names, descriptions, values, and quantities
- Photos and receipt images attached to items
- Insurance policy details and attached documents
- Location names and organization structure
- App preferences including currency selection
Exchange Rates
If you use multi-currency features, Lemna may fetch current exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.app), a free and open-source exchange rate service. This request contains no personal information — it is equivalent to loading a public webpage. No item data or personal identifiers are included in these requests.
Backups
Lemna supports local backups that you can save to Files, iCloud Drive, or any destination you choose. These backups are fully under your control. Lemna does not have access to backup files after they are exported.
If you use iCloud Drive to store a backup, that data is governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy.
App Store
Purchasing Lemna through the App Store is handled entirely by Apple. Lemna does not receive or store any payment or account information from App Store transactions.
Children's Privacy
Lemna does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data collection occurs, there is no special handling required.
Changes to This Policy
If future versions of Lemna introduce optional online features, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect what data is involved and how it is handled before those features are made available.
